Cine21 Magazine Names jTBC’s A Virtuous Business the Most Underrated Drama of the Year and tvN’s Hit Queen of Tears the Most Overrated

Okay, I love this going against the grain even though I love one drama and legit missed watching the other which kinda validates this opinion haha. Cine21 magazine in Korea named it’s most overrated and underrated K-drama of 2024. The latter is A Virtuous Business airing on jTBC in late fall about four ladies in a small village town that end up as door-to-door saleswoman of bedroom toy products and it’s apparently not just a well made and well acted drama but the story is really inspiring and heartwarming. Conversely, Cine21 picked tvN’s biggest ratings hit of the year Queen of Tears as the most overrated drama, calling the drama riding on the name and previous hits of the writer but the story does not add any value or purpose for the viewer to consume and also the comedic elements was a huge decline from the writer’s previous works.
