Tencent Releases Top 10 Biggest Dramas of 2024 Led by Joy of Life 2, Blossoms Shanghai, and The Tale of Rose
Streaming platform Tencent aired the most hit C-dramas this year in 2024 so it’s list of the biggest dramas on its own channel encapsulates nearly all the big buzz makers of this year. Topping the list is Joy of Life 2, which reportedly wasn’t as good as the original but still good enough that viewers tuned in and stayed till the end. Blossoms Shanghai started the year out with a bang and deservingly sits in second place. Third place went to The Tale of Rose where Crystal Liu got all the credit as she was with douchebag, douchebag, terminal illness guy, and finally boy toy. Fourth spot goes to The Legend of Shen Li as Zhao Li Ying shows she can still bring it in terms of picking a good script and delivering on a strong character. And Rounding out the top five is the little drama that could in Love Game in Eastern Fantasy which nicely ends the year also on a strong note for Tencent.

Only Yang mi don't have hits
It happens, not everything released by actors do well. She is well connected with a good agent, she can still turn things around. Her next drama has a good production team, good cast and realistic storyline. It could turn out to be boring but its safer than filming xianxias with questionable storylines.
