Sisters Finding Love Period C-drama Perfect Match with Wang Xing Yue and Lu Yu Xiao Leading Large Cast Confirms January 25th Premiere
So this is really great timing, to release period C-drama Perfect Match (Wu Fu Ling Men 五福临门) right before lunar new year since it just seems like a fun family oriented show to watch when nestling at home. The Yu Zheng produced C-drama stars a bevy of his agency stars along with additional familiar names and faces to create a matriarch led family with five daughters each finding her own perfect match. There is Wang Xing Yue paired with Lu Yu Xiao, Wu Xuan Yi with Huang Sheng Chi, Liu Xie Ning with Chen He Yi, Ye Ke together with Liang Yong Qi, and Huang Yang Tian Tian and Dong Si Cheng as the youngest pair. The drama will air terrestrially on Hunan TV and stream on Mango TV in China, and got picked up by Netflix for global airing.

Yu Zheng enjoys producing these types of drama, doesn't he? Getting his artistes under him to get together for a family drama... But the last few he was involved it did not fly...I wonder about this?
This is giving me major New Life Begins (NLB) vibes which I enjoyed a lot. But in the trailer, there are domestic abuse scenes disguised as humour which is one of the things some people didn't like about NLB and I'm not sure what to think about it either.
I'm so ready for THIS. The premiere will come right on time after I finish Kdrama, The King: Eternal Monarch. If Perfect Match is a costume family drama like New Life Begins as ppl claimed, then it's less my cup of tea. For this genre, leading actors are mostly #1 key factor for me to tune in the drama. I haven't got enough WXY from the Double LOL and LYX left me a very positive impression from Blossom in Adversity. New Life Begins failed me for an equally opposite reason.
This looks like a fun funny female empowerment drama. 😂 I might watch to see those two dudes from The Double portraying lighter characters.
Ah, so it looks like New Life Begins? That's why i lost interest after seeing the trailer. But one ep or two wont hurt. Will give it a try when it's airing.
