Xu Kai and Zhou Ye Confirmed to Star in Period Romance C-drama A Cup of Love Starting Filming in March
With so many period C-dramas airing between November of last year through January now it feels like the backlog of projects got released so now I’m back on the anticipation wagon for a slew of projects getting announced or starting to film. This week there is insider industry confirmation that Zhou Ye and Xu Kai will be pairing up for a period romance drama titled A Cup of Love (Yi Ou Chun 一瓯春) adapted from the same name novel by writer You Si Jie, who wrote the novel that was adapted into Unchained Love with Dylan Wang and Chen Yu Qi. I’m still waiting anxiously for Zhou Ye’s next drama Legend of the Female General to see if she’s leveled up and if she did it’s going to make this new drama even more exciting for me to see two of my soft spot faves pair up.
