Cine21 Magazine Names Top 5 Best Works in 2024 with Exhuma Followed by Queen of Tears
The year end top lists all came out at the end of 2024 in December but here comes Cine21 with their own take. The top K-ent magazine released it’s own list of both successful hits of 2024 as well as people and projects to watch in 2025. Let’s start with what the magazine found to be the best projects of 2024 and all the names are no surprise for me except one. Cine21 named box office mega hit movie Exhuma the best work of 2024. Next in second spot was mega ratings hit K-drama Queen of Tears. Netflix behemoth Squid Game 2 came in third, followed by breakout hit drama Lovely Runner in fourth, and the top five was rounded out by the K-drama Doubt (Korean title Such a Close Betrayer or Such a Close Traitor). I keep hearing Doubt mentioned more after it ended and seems to be the underrated gem that I now plan to go back and watch. As for the other high profile names, if anyone is still waffling whether to watch and get on the bandwagon maybe this is one more vote to check it out and see what all the fuss is about.

Instead of using the word ‘best’, I would use the word ‘most popular’ because judging requirements are subjective.
Even if I love HSK, I didn't specially like Doubt. It was ridiculous that his character could work on this case. In the same genre, Black Out was better for me.
