Li Qin and Deng Wei Cast in Period C-drama The Days of Love and Seclusion
So this drama has been discussed for over two years and multiple actors and actresses attached at different times. But reportedly this time is it as the drama will start filming at the end of February 2025 at Hendian Studios so this casting should be it. The Days of Love and Seclusion adapted from the same name novel will star Li Qin and Deng Wei, and already their fandom is fighting for billing order because of course they would be. I’m mid on these two stars and this pairing but also find when them if the story interests me and the production looks good then it’s worth checking out.

I've never warmed up to LQ except that she was pretty decent in The Youth Memories as the FL for Xiao Zhan. I'm watching Love of Divine Tree...not enthusiastically but slowly, and I think DW is doing a good job as the ML. Nonetheless, period dramas are generally too historically controversial with a lot of nonsense feeding narratives. Will pass this one.
I will watch it coz I like li Qin and Deng wei. I prefer li Qin sweet and innocent in her roles rather than all uptight, edgy and loud. One thing for sure, we will get to see two good looking actors on screen.

Is there not any actress out there beside Li Qin? she was okay in joy of life, but not the greatest and strong actress. With Deng Wei popular status with this current drama Love of the divine tree, he need doesn't need to be second billing to LQ. I hope he reconsider and take other project that will bring him stardom before he retire.
Yeah, for sure. The newbie celeb who regularly gets raked for his acting, who has been out of work for a year, who has no upcoming dramas, and has ONE mediocre drama he's carried, should get top billing over a trained actress who has won multiple acting awards and been in several hit dramas in this female centric drama.
This sort of delusion is why so many can't take Deng Wei or his fans seriously. I will LMAO if he loses this role over this nonsense, though it is far more likely that this is yet another false melon pushed by him and his team.
