Kim Ji Hoon and Seo Ji Hye Cast as Second Leads in Rom-com K-drama Petty Romance with Lee Jung Jae and Seo Ji Hye
The casting has been rounded out for the main roles in upcoming rom-com K-drama titled Petty Romance that a few months ago cast Lee Jung Jae and Lim Ji Yeon in the lead roles. Now Kim Ji Hoon and Seo Ji Hye are joining as the second leads, and from the description likely has their own love line which makes me happy. These four are playing older characters that just make no sense for those dumb juvenile love triangles. The drama is from the PD of Good Partner and the screenwriter of Doctor Cha and will broadcast in the second half of 2025.

Kim Ji Hoon is the only name-face recognition I am able to make out here, so...the bottom picture isn't of the leads, right? Right? I mean, he looks like her badly aging sleazy father clinging to the wild '80s... The picture looks gross. But for Kim Ji Hoon's sake, I will probably watch and fast forward to his scenes.
They look more interesting than the other two already. 😬
Thank goodness they're getting their own love line. One thing I can definitely applaud Kim Eun Sook for regarding her dramas. Truly tired of wasted 2nd leads who are friendzoned and often portrayed negatively if they're a female 2nd lead. I hope the two actors get a good storyline. I'd hate to see Kim Ji Hoon wasted.
Why not a drama with only Kim Ji Hoon and Seo Ji Hye as leads ? They are actors since 2 decades ! Old dramas as Over the rainbow, Why did you come to my place?, Star falling from the sky , Flower boy next door ...and Kim Ji Hoon in Flower of evil was so good .

Was confused by the title for a bit because Seo Ji Hye was mentioned twice... The casting sounds different from the usual dramas. I will watch if I hear good things about it...
