Chinese superstition has it that on the day of a funeral if it’s raining out it means even the Heavens and Gods are mourning the passing of a good person, so rainy day funerals are an auspicious sign for the deceased not that it makes anyone feel any better. This Saturday March 15th, the family and friends of top Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu (Da S) laid her ashes to rest in a burial ceremony at Chin Pao Shan on the outskirts of Taipei in a lovely mountainous vista private cemetery site. Her husband Koo Jun Yup (DJ Koo) carried her ashes the entire way per custom as her family including also celebrity sister Dee Hsu (Xiao S) were in attendance. May she rest in peace and my hopes are all the drama and tabloid life that used to her surround her fade away as her two still young kids grow up and have the best possible care in the aftermath of shockingly losing their loving mother.

May she rest in peace. Hope the media can give her and her family space and the respect they need.
She hasn't been laid to rest? It felt like her death has been for quite some time already. And wasn't she supposed to have tree burial or something as per her wishes?
@Lilith, There was a dispute with DJ Koo over how to handle her burial thus the delay. He wanted to find a suitable location to properly buried her.
@HL This kind of put a bad taste in my mouth. Pardon me, but I thought the Chinese has some customs about ensuring the deceased is laid to rest not exceeding a number of days?
I think that is one of the reasons her mum was angry with Koo... But since Koo is the husband, his opinion out weights mum-in-law.
Another reason was money related. thus she removed all photos of Koo from her social feed.
May Barbie rest in peace. Hope her family will be able to stay strong and also help her take care of her beloved children.
So much crap happening in the last 2 months that it feels surprising that it has only been 6-7 weeks. I hope the kids are well-cared for so that Barbie Hsu can truly rest in peace.
