Kim Soo Hyun to Hold Press Conference on March 31st with Lawyer Present to Respond to the Allegations Swirling for Two Weeks on His Dating then Allegedly a Minor Kim Sae Ron and Other Claims
So there are now way more allegations than the original reveal two weeks ago that top K-actor Kim Soo Hyun allegedly dated then minor underaged now deceased actress Kim Sae Ron and his agency’s debt collection towards her contributed to her stress and suicide. The most recent new allegation comes from another party, the family of also deceased actress Sulli that demands answer from Kim Soo Hyun and production of 2017 movie Real for allegedly pressuring Sulli into doing a nude bed scene that led to her distress and online bullying. Today Gold Medalist released a statement that Kim Soo Hyun willing an urgent press conference to respond to the allegations, with his lawyer present, but there will be no standard Q&A session afterwards. K-netizens and C-netizens are overwhelmingly criticizing the timing and set up, scoffing at the calling it an “urgent” press conference when it’s been two weeks of silence from him and also the lack of a Q&A then why hold a press conference just release a written or video statement.
The takeaway is that Gold Medalist has spent the last two weeks trying to do damage control behind the scenes, with digging up and releasing dirt on Kim Sae Ron (such as her quickie marriage, ex-boyfriend, etc.), negotiating with Kim Soo Hyun’s brands and projects, and trying to persuade the families to resolve privately (including reaching out to Kim Sae Ron’s family and also reaching out to Sulli’s mom according to Sulli’s brother). This press conference at this time likely means he has enough to resolve it with his reputation intact (such as all evidence was fabricated and he will sue for defamation), or that he doesn’t and will find the best explanation before announcing self-reflection (such as admitting to dating Kim Sae Ron at the dates the family said but that the relationship was wholly chaste with no intimacy until she came of age). The funniest comment came from the snarkiest commenters anticipating this press conference will be “Kim Soo Hyun’s best acting performance to date” and coming with their popcorns ready at what sob story he’s going to unveil.

wow!! Will he cry? It is good for him to speak for himself. Silence is not the way forward for his case. His fans needs a response from him as many are supporting him relentlessly. It will not surprise me he will prepare a number of lawsuits.
If he is innocent and unfairly accused, this conference may not be enough to clear his name and reputation but it is a start.
I bet he will be very selective who he will invite to Press Conference. Questions asked will be carefully selective too. He need to control the narrative and what get released.

Kim Soo Hyun and his team will selective their own questions to answer for Press. Since there is no Q&A session. Kim Soo Hyun likely wants to gain control back...steering his image back to safety.

I don't know if it will work ? being an actor is a double-edged sword as people can say that he is faking it, not taking Q&A , may work against him and even if he would agree to do it while selecting a few reporters ,it will shatter credibility . So many factors are working against him . He may not has done anything illegal but his morality as a human being is already tarnished .Now it's for his fans and viewers to decide if it's okay for them to watch his projects . It's always the same debate over separating works from artist's private life . I can't always separate both . i still listen M Jackson, Depp's movies, but as i never was into KSH or even Depardieu , i will not miss watching them .
I agree with your opinion. I cannot imagine his image can be fixed. He did not legally do anything wrong...just morally very questionable.
There are some artists I can no longer watch/listen to but some I still listen to. Like M.Jackson...he is truly a talented artist. I dislike actors like Jackie Chan, I dont watch his shows.

We already know how sincere he denied and distort facts that she was legal age.

Regarding her debt, COERCION answers if she was duped to take on the debt. From agency's previous statement it was charged off so there was no more debt. But she got the second letter that she needs to pay.
EXTORTION answers if there was threat. She will get sued if she doesn't pay up.
Unfortunately, she did feel threatened with her self-exit.
Regarding the MINOR scope of question, GM says they dated when she turned legal, note they emphasized legal to cover sexual relations involved. But before the official date, won't they go through wooing period? So, the question that opens, was she groomed?
