Zhang Ling He, Wang Chu Ran, and Zhou Ke Yu in Talks for Republic Era Romance C-drama If We Were Strangers

Well this is a great look and very tall main cast lol. C-ent casting mill is saying that Zhang Ling He and Wang Chu Ran will be the next carousel musical chairs leads pairing up, with rising actor Zhou Ke Yu joining them as the second male lead. The drama is titled If We Were Strangers (Chinese title 如果这一秒，我没遇见你 If This Second I Did Not Meet You) based on the novel by writer Fei Wo Si Cun who wrote the novels that became dramas Sealed with a Kiss and Goodbye My Princess. I’m super excited for this casting and the drama is set during the Republic era so early 1910’s to 1930’s. The production is slated to kick off filming in June 2025 so the casting should be finalized soon and I hope there are no changes.
