The first teaser trailer is out for Beautiful Spy (Spy Myung Wol), and I am completely sold. Looks like we’re getting a rom-com using a spy theme, with dashes of what might happen if Best Love‘s top star Dokko Jin ran into IRIS‘s North Korean spy Kim Sun Hwa. I love the transition between tense spy moments and complete and utter frippery idol fangirling.
Eric is so smoking hot I daresay I will need to watch him whilst wearing sunglasses. The man personifies sex appeal. I don’t always like uber-manly leading men, but Eric’s got that plus goofy charm galore. Han Ye Seul looks to be back in a character type she actually can play well – sexy, funny, and out-of-her-element. Her Jo Anna in Fantasy Couple was just brilliantly meta. Anyways, have a watch and let’s get the Spy countdown going.

why is Jo Anna "meta"? I don't think she's like that in real life at all. From what I've seen (her talk show appearances, interviews, etc.), shes a very nice and down to earth gal...
