Truth be told, while I was more interested in Poseidon in its first incarnation (with Eric and Kim Kang Woo) than in its resurrected incarnation (with Choi Siwon, Lee Sung Jae, and Lee Shi Young), neither version really captures my interest completely. I think Poseidon, premiering in two weeks on Mon-Tues on KBS, will actually be in a pretty ideal slot. It’s up against counter programming, with MBC‘s sageuk Gyebaek, and SBS‘s Warrior Baek Dong Soo ending by the end of September to be replaced with the Kim Soo Hyun-penned melodrama Thousand Day Promise starring Su Ae and Kim Rae Won.
So if the drama has a good story with a decent execution, I think it has a fair shot of being a hit. At this point, KBS just wants it’s beleaguered Spy Myung Wol over and done with, and Poseidon can’t come fast enough as far as the network is concerned. The first stills of the leads in their marine police costumes look convincing, and I’m particularly pleased that Lee Shi Young, a well known athletic actress in real life, getting to play a competent police officer. You go, girl!

I feel that Siwon has a lot of international appeal....mayhaps in the future he can cross-over internationally! it helps that he's so chill, laid-back with no hang ups that he's a SuJuian!
I think Lee Shi-Young will do good in this drama, finally a butt-kicking female played by a butt-kicking female in real life. I hate how they get these "demure" actresses and try to turn them badass, it's clearly unrealistic.
Siwon is kind of mehh for me. He's hot, but acting wise, he's mehh.

i LOVE Lee Sung Jae since The lawyers of Korea and it surprised me when he accepted the role.Too bad he's not the lead actor
