The preview for episode 14 of Nice Guy is destroying me. I seriously felt my knees buckle watching it. Holy drama gods this drama hurts so good. The pain in Eun Gi’s eyes as she stands disbelieving of her life filled with no current memories. The way Maru cradles her, hugs her, does everything in his power and with his utmost patience to protect her and support her. I swear it’s been ages since a freaking preview for an episode of a drama made me cry just like that. I was worried that the whole double amnesia bit would be excessive but the preview makes it work so well because it is indeed her defense mechanism acting out. And I think its her way of protecting herself against her own self-loathing for wanting to kill herself and Maru. She’s not angry with him, she’s angry at herself, which is why she doesn’t want to remember. She has always loved Maru beyond all reason from the very beginning and continues until now. Maru both fears and wants her to regain her memory, wanting to give her happiness even if it means he will be be in even greater pain himself because he might lose her. I appreciate how soulless Jae Hee continues to be in pursuing her goals, because I want to keep on hating with and watching with relish as Maru crushes her into the ground.

i am hating JH to high heavens. Maru, I could feel his pain. Eun Gi, poor baby, she is the most affected of it all. even though she have double amnesia now, it's more painful.

I agree about EG too and what she's doing is a defense mechanism. Regardless of what he did to her she did actually try to kill him and kill herself. She has to have a lot of guilt. And this is without knowing he has a deadly hematoma he's not getting treated so he can help her... I seriously feel for both of them.
