December is here and so is the march towards wrapping up Heirs/The Inheritors. This drama feels like it’s been dominating the K-drama headlines for the better part of the entire 2013 due to signing on leading man Lee Min Ho very very early on. By the time the rest of the cast was added was like building a Jenga tower and the worry that the slightest misstep can lead it all to topple down. It’s safe to render this one yet another ratings hit for SBS despite the slow start since ultimately if it picks up steam that always adds to the post-airing overseas sales and longevity of runs. Episode 16 left our kids in a quandary after Chairman Daddy taught his two sons a very painful lesson while Eun Sang either skedaddled or got shipped off. Either way that leaves Tan literally sobbing on his knees and while it comes across as overwrought the acting from Lee Min Ho was a nice lovely delivery. I watched the video preview for episode for 17 and there is clearly no time jump but also consists entirely of everyone looking for Eun Sang. Please don’t spend an entire episode on Where in Korea is Eun Sang? because that is just too much plot filler since clearly Tan will find her. Unless Tan spends the time looking for her multitasking and plotting a foolproof plan to take down Chairman Daddy. Or Young Do finds her first, which is what the just released stills make it seem like. Mmmm, if early on Young Do let his hair down and was always so protective and cuddly towards Eun Sang, I might’ve been swayed towards his ship. With just four episodes left, this drama doesn’t have time to waste on useless moping and better get a move on in structuring how to resolve all the big obstacles for all the main characters. Unless the writer is intended for some great easy way out solution, in which case she can then bring on the fanservice and let the good times roll. I’m so ready for this drama to jump start my week since the last two days have been drama purgatory.

It's weird that they seem to be focusing on YD's character rather than KT's for promotion. He's the only character in Heirs who evolves throughout the series. Kim Eun Sook, what are you doing?
Writing jerk male characters is KES's forte. I guess KES decided that she loves YD's character more, that's why the humanizing and character development for YD is more visible than that of the actual leads in this drama.
This is the first time that they have released YD stills rather than KT....just to increase viewer anticipation about whether KT and ES will meet or not...
KT was already a reformed but flawed character...so no need to show that much growth as compared to YD who was seriously a jerk before...
Having Kim Tan's character reformed outside of the screen is a disservice. It makes it hard for some to feel something for him. That's why quite a number of people are connecting more with Young Do's character since his character is dynamic rather than stagnant.
So back to love triangle? I hope not. Address the bigger issues, Writer-nim.
lol.. Best word ever: "Writer-nim"
Finding ES doesn't necessarily mean she will go back with him. Anyway, I'm still hoping there is going to be time jump. Really want to see a mature and not so needy KT. Please don't disappoint us Kim Eun Sook with a lousy ending! Get KT and the gang on a speed dial to maturity and turn them into one awesome group of heirs!
What is this? Although it is early to be disappointed, but love triangle again? WTF??????? Please focus on our main characters! Hug your friend's girlfriend again? Even you are an ass, Please do not do this!
Well, hopefully there won't be a drunk ruined ex-CEO in whatever town she's in, one who is just lurking about waiting for a Kim to show up and get run down by his car. And hopefully Tan won't push Young Do out of the way and get amnesia....oh. Wrong series. But honestly, am I the only ones getting flash backs here when reading the recaps?
well, Heirs already has Lee Min-ho in the lead, an annoying and overused theme song or two, a scene-stealing secondary couple (it's a bonus that Krystal even looks a bit like Kim So-eun) and main leads with no real chemistry (plus bonus dead/awkward-looking kiss scenes).....
yeah, it's BOF, done Kim Eun-seok style.
Don't get me started with the Bof lookalike plot, wait... Almost paradise !!!!
love is the mooooooooment!
LOL. these love is the moment comments don't get old.
just like the "almooooost paaaraaaddddiiise~" ones.
Within Young Do's embrace love is the torment.
Lol-ed so hard at Yvonne, Daisy & Mango's comments...
Agreed that they never get old & are just.too.funny! Xp
The conclusion was love triangle immediately?! Can't be friendly hug first? If the preview focus to the main lead the assumption was what about the other characters??? Hehehe! Actually most comments here for my opinion only okies.. " the more you hate this drama... the more you like it too.. " you will not waste time reading recaps and news if you are not interested in it.. hehehe! I hope you all feel better guys! :)
I don't understand Korean but it sounds like Young Do TOLD HIS FATHER that he's looking for the "girl he likes".
What did Most Abusive Father On Earth say to that?! Episode 17, please tell us! *wills Wednesday night to come faster*
