I’ve been keeping tabs on the upcoming cable romance drama I Need Romance 3 in the corner of my eye. There is just too much going on these days to fully start anticipating the arrival of the third installment of the INR franchise, especially with the drama not airing until January 13. There are a few more December dramas to check out first, but INR is jumping out to an early start by releasing lovely posters, fun teasers, and cute stills just to start drumming up interest. It’s gotten my interest for sure. The cast has three leads I like in Sung Joon, Kim So Yeon, and Namgong Min, which is a fresh unexpected love triangle since I would have never put these three together. Kim So Yeon plays a director at a home shopping company having worked her way up through the ranks. Namgong Min is her boss while Sung Joon is both her new roommate and the neighborhood kid who had a crush on her when they were growing up. Kim So Yeon’s character used to be idealistic towards love and career but has since become disillusioned due to work place experiences and a failed romance. The arrival of Sung Joon kindles an unexpected romance with a much younger man who adores her, but waiting in the wings is her boss and a guy who might be her equal in experience and understanding. Second female lead Wang Ji Won is a fast rising newcomer and her most recent stint in a guest starring role as Kim Won’s matseon date in the high profile Heirs has certainly put her face out there if not her name. Rounding out the cast is Yoon Seung Ah and Park Yoo Hwan, both of whom are always adorable to watch. My appreciation for the promotional materials is a tad greater than thinking I’ll love the story but I like keeping my expectations low for this one and have it turn out to be an unexpected delight to start off the new year. I must say – Kim So Yeon and Sung Joon look ridiculously good together. There better be copious amounts of making out in this drama is all imma saying.

Out of all the new dramas starting this month of the next, this one is definitely my favorite. I'm dying with anticipation!
Kim So Yeon is my favorite K-actress, by far! Her and Sung Joon seem to have great chemistry together.
At least when it comes to the I Need Romance series you know you're getting:
- Great music
- Great cinematography
- Meaningful dialogue
- Realistic views on love and sex
- Great makeouts
The story sounds sooooo much similar to Dalja's Spring (which was awesome)..even the set up of home shopping channel..
Usually I'm not interested in INR franchise but the cast here is the sole reason I'm really excited for INR 3.
