It’s a week of double congratulations for K-actress Jeon Ji Hyun, and what better way to share the good news then with a brand new media spread featuring the forever lovely Ms. Jeon as she did the promotional rounds for her new movie Assassination. Jeon Ji Hyun is living both a personal and professional high this week, with the personal definitely way more meaningful in the long run. She’s expecting a baby with her husband of three years, currently ten weeks along and treading carefully.
Despite being newly pregnant, she’s been gamely doing all the media events to promotion Assassination with her two costars Ha Jung Woo and Lee Jung Jae, and their collective star power has paid off big time as Assassination is off to a crazy good start. The first day tickets sold is the second highest of all time in the Korean box office at nearly 950,000 tickets, second only to The Admiral: Roaring Currents with a one day box office of 1.26 million. I’m so happy for her two-fer good news this week, she basically can do no wrong at this points, and still look fabulous all the way to the success bank.

The movie is no doubt going to do very well given that we have 3 movie stars. On top of that the director is the same one who filmed The Thieves. More people are going to go watch in upcoming weeks if the movie is very well-directed and well-written. Congrats to Jeon Ji Hyun for her pregnancy news. I am going to miss her seeing since I am pretty sure she will be on hiatus for at least 2 to 3 year after wrapping up this movie promotion. Her baby is gonna be really handsome or pretty considering his good-looking husband. I hope she has a safe delivery.
