I’ve been around the K-drama block too many times to expect a weekend drama to not have makjang, even if the teasers are all chuckling hilarity and goofy antics. With that said, I’m still hoping the makjang is in limited quantities with upcoming MBC weekend drama My Daughter Geum Sa Wol, with the story focusing on the humorous lighthearted mood from the previews. Of course, with this drama coming from the screenwriter of Come! Jang Bori, I’m sure the makjang will be doled out in continuous heaps, but for now I’m enjoying the cute teasers as is.
The first teaser cutely showed the four leads playing poker, and the second teaser continues the same cheeky irreverent vibe. A romantic moment between Baek Jin Hee and Yoon Hyun Min turns silly and violent, Park Se Young‘s all about her attitude, and Do Sang Woo finds himself sandwiched between the two leading ladies and loving all the attention even if it’s negative. It totally helps that I like the main cast, and find Baek Jin Hee super adorable as plucky Geum Sa Wol. She does it without coming across as fake and that’s not easy to do.

I like the teasers very much. I like the cast. They look like they're having fun. I may try to watch this. I do like CutieSoo!
OMG CUTIESOO is coming back!!!!
I've just recently started enjoying these weekend dramas. Fifty episodes used to scare me....but now I'm enjoying all the different arcs and the family dynamics. Looking forward to this one!
Same here. Rosy Lovers was surprisingly really good and enjoyable. As long as the plot is lighthearted, I don't mind sitting through the 50+ hours.
What Happened To My Family was my favourite one from last year. Good acting, no makjang, and people actually behaving like a family.
Btw Koala, I think you mean Park Se Young not Park Se Kyung :/
I'm tuning in for all the leads...main and second. I love the older casts too...yeay!! Excited...Park Seyoung, is that you?? Welcome back!
