If upcoming TW-drama Marry Me, or Not was a blind date, I’d probably marry it sight unseen based on the strength of the two leads unknown. Reuniting hit drama Office Girl’s Roy Qiu and Alice Ke, this time the two trade sweet awshucks type banter for more chic and high powered work place romance. There is always the potential for a potent onscreen pairing to fall flat in different characterizations and narrative settings, but the goodwill from OG is high for me not to mention the prolonged hiatus for Roy from TW-dramas makes this comeback even more can’t miss. I also like second leads Joanne Tseng and Harry Chang, especially when they play off more charismatic leads and don’t need to carry the drama on their own shoulders. The production dropped a major treat for fans this week with five concept teasers for the drama, which still doesn’t have a definitive air date yet so it could still air at the end of 2015 but may cross over into 2016 before the OG-redux fix arrives.
