So it looks like this noodle god drama really is happening, even if the storyboard sounds weird, the time slot potentially even weirder, and the production team the weirdest of all. KBS has cast upcoming Wed-Thurs Master: God of Noodles to headline Chun Jung Myung, Jo Jae Hyun, Jung Yumi and Lee Sang Yeob. But the drama is following Descendants of the Sun and I worry it has nowhere near the star power or interesting concept alone to retain the viewers.
Even more concerning is the PD has only one drama the daily Cheer Up, Mr Kim under his belt, and the screenwriter’s only other drama is writing the first ten episodes of Age of Feeling (Inspiring Generation). A proven combo this isn’t, and even with the added supporting cast of Baro, Gong Seung Yeon and Kim Jae Young, nothing about this drama on paper sounds like a plausible hit. With that said, it could be so weird as to make it worth watching, sorta like Blade Man. KBS certainly is willing to take odder risks.

I agree with you. I really loved the young actors (kwak Dong Yeon! ) and the story ! But after that, it was a big mess. It's sad because it had a lot of potential !
Why were the writers changed? It's never a good idea to do this whether a show is pre produced or not! When will networks learn.

CJM improves and evolves as an actor from project to project. I watched Reset, a very dark drama from Yong Pal's writer on OCN and his performance was so much better than lots of popular actors. He just needs more projects with interesting storylines.
Don't know any of the cast. Are they good? Nowadays K dramas are so boring except for Descendants of the Sun.
I am also concerned about the writer and director. But I have loved drama based on Park In-Kwon's manhwa.. (Yawang, Daemul, War of Money.).
In addition, I love several of the cast members, especially Jo Jae-Hyeon and Lee Sang-Yeob, as well as Baro.
I love revenge drama, and culinary drama, so if they successfully put the two together, that would be awesome.
I do wish they had better leads though; I do not really care for the leads. I wish Lee Sang-Yeob was the male lead, and I wish Jung Yumi will just go away - she loves to over-act- and make room to a better actress in the title role. Still, I will give this drama a try despite her being in the cast, for all the other good points about it.
