I’m getting super excited that K-actor Kang Dong Won has a new movie coming out next month, but for reasons unrelated to being his fan or being interested in said movie. I’m just jonesing to check out what he’s going to wear on the press tour! Earlier this year he was the most entertaining presence promoting A Violent Prosecutor, pushing the envelope on male fashion with his model physique, height, and insouciance. This new movie Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned certainly looks interesting, like a dark version of Big where turning into an adult overnight isn’t comedy material but instead scary, disorienting, and plumbing the depths of loss. Kang Dong Won plays the young boy lost in the woods who returns days later a grown man, and the who, why, whats are certainly prime movie fodder to explore.
