Los Angeles was ground central last week for a black tie gala attended surprisingly by many many top Korean stars. The LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) held its 2016 Art Film Gala, with this year’s honorees Robert Irwin and Kathryn Bigelow. The event was sponsored by Gucci and in attendance at this confluence of fashion and cinema were Psy, Park Bo Gum, Lee Soo Hyuk, Kwon Sang Woo, Park Seo Joon, Sooyoung of SNSD, Han Hyo Joo, Eric Nam, and Ko So Young. It’s an eclectic and talented bunch of K-stars to represent on the global stage and I hope they had as much fun to befit how stylish and dapper everyone looked. I hope Angeleno drama and music fans hear about so many K-stars being in town at the same time and lucked into a fan sighting.
This year 2024 has been a slow year for K-actress Suzy in terms of her…
There are weird casting choices and this one is weird from both the leads itself…
Well this is an interesting pairing, setting aside the age difference at least I can…
I swear I just wrote about Song Joong Ki having his first baby and then…
At the end of the day, the core of any good drama remains the Story,…
If I didn't know this drama was a romance set in space and done K-drama…

Hope this doesn't spoil Mrs. Koala's article on LACMA, but celebrity couple Lee Byung Hun & Lee Min Jung were at the Gala as well. Thanks for the posting, was waiting to read about it here.
Rain was there too! They are lppking great
sorry, typo error! 'looking' great
What a shame there is no representative early 20's actress there. Soo Young represents more kpop and HHJ is near her 30's.
Why is it an issue if no age group of twenties was not represented? If it's an issue, then all age groups should be represented. Do not get the logic!
This event seems a good chance to showcase the up and coming talented SK stars on a global stage, is it not?
Do not understand the issue on age group representations. Is it an SOP that all age groups be represented? If so, then there should be age groups in all levels. Do not get the logic.
Byung Hun Lee, I get. But who are these guys mean , they may be big stars in Korea, but seriously are out of place here.
Like totally weird.
As people who work in the film industry, I am sure they can appreciate the event. But I am wondering which actors or actresses in the group were able to mingle and speak English with non-Korean attendees as it might have been a good opportunity to make connections with Hollywood execs for international projects.
They all look very stylish! :)
:( I was at the LACMA just the day before. I wish I had a celeb sighting!
PSY is covering Rain in the in the first picture
