Mannequin-esque Drama Posters for Black Knight Pile on the Baroque Style

It’s too late but if I could I would ask Kim Rae Won to run far far away from this K-drama, and take Seo Ji Hye with him. Alas the dawn of KBS fantasy melo-romance Black Knight (The Man Who Guards Me) is upon us in a little over a week and the production has released truly extraordinary drama posters. I am flummoxed at how the production has turned the four leads into veritable wax figures of themselves, all fake looking almost like the acting spirit of female lead Shin Se Kyung turned contagious. The individual character posters are a wee bit better thanks to actual expressions but the OTP couples poster makes me think old school Hallyu melo in all the wrong ways of forced romantic connection of destiny. In this case there’s a reason for all this woe is me throwback feels as Kim Rae Won and Shin Se Kyung have sageuk romance that fast-forwards two hundred years to the present time to get their happy ending, with Seo Ji Hye not aging during the interim to try and separate them again. I kinda want to see her succeed, lol.
