I think recently married K-actress Choi Ji Woo just won the noona of the romance year award. On the heels of her surprise wedding last week to an non-entertainment industry husband, K-ent is reporting that said bridegroom is a tall and handsome worker in the IT industry who is in his early 30’s. Gathering that since Choi Ji Woo is 43 then he’s maybe a decade younger than her. Beautiful bride. I used to be younger but my mom watched all those old hallyu hits like Winter Sonata and Stairway to Heaven and Choi Ji Woo starred in them. She was one of the most impactful leading ladies at that time and I find that amazing. It’s also curious how she could hide her relationship till she announced that she’s marrying. And her husband is a private person, a regular Joe apparently. That’s why his face cannot be seen on wedding pictorials or photos. Congrats to the couple!

She is still so likable after 20ish years in the industry. Her acting is always great and truly one of the best Hallyu stars from Korea. She always have chemistry with whomever she is cast with. Her chemistry in Stairway to Heaven was off the charts with the leading man, I often wondered why the two did not develop any romantic relationship after the show.

She will not be 43 until June, but regardless she is gorgeous and such a giving person as well as talented. She does so much charity work, I admire her. All I have read is that he is in his 30's. This is the only site that said early 30's, but who cares. No more double standards, it's just fine for the woman to be older and he is very lucky to have her. I wish them much happiness together.
