The tvN drama Mother (Call Me Mother) was nominated along with other international television shows for Best International Series. Mother is the only Asian nominee in the category of ten so this is a high honor indeed. The production team along with leads Lee Bo Young who played the titular teacher/mother and debut child actress Heo Yul jetted off to Cannes to attend the festival.
