I have this feeling that upcoming OCN heist baddies-stealing-from-baddies K-drama Player is going to be a hoot. Maybe not straight up comedy but enough intentional and unintentional comedic moments to be worth my while. Starring Song Seung Heon, Krystal, and Lee Si Un, the drama has a ragtag team of thieves stealing hidden ill-gotten gains from criminals, making us root for the wrongdoers in a perverted sense of justice served. The latest stills has Song Seung Heon looking so fly, all player-esque pun intended, but never crossing the line to sleazy. Female lead Krystal plays the tomboy tough girl getaway driver that all criminal heist gangs need and she’s a good fit with her naturally cool onscreen demeanor.
