The third iteration in the Let’s Eat drama universe started with controversy with how it dispatched the leading lady from the second season, and is now ending with controversy for how the leading man is about to depart in real life. Yoon Doo Joon announced rather abruptly that he was leaving for military service on August 24th, basically the end of this week and Let’s Eat 3 just broadcast episodes 11 and 12 earlier this week. The production has announced that the drama will be cut short and end at 14 episodes and said it was all due to Doo Joon, but apparently he told the production he was about to get his enlistment papers and could hie off to military service at anytime and the producers still wanted to do this drama with him. Turns out the drama isn’t as beloved as the first two seasons with the viewers, as well as with middling low ratings so I don’t think there’ll be too much audience sadness at the earlier conclusion. Good luck to Yoon Doo Joon on his enlistment and come back better than ever in two years!

Actually, this season has better ratings than the first two seasons, a little over 2.4% average. The first season had average 1.3 and second season 1.98.
I personally thought this season was the best so far. Oh, well. That's life, I guess.
I thought I wouldn't like it but I actually do! I'm sad that it's not the full 16 episodes but I'll take what I can get! Come back soon Doojoonie! <3
Season 3 aren’t getting good reviews compared to the first 2 I think mostly due to Baek Jin hee. She’s just not suited to do eating dramas. It always looks like she’s too scared to eat so much cause of the calories and it doesn’t look she’s enjoying the food. It sucks that the franchise is ending in such a poor note though :(
If you're looking extremely skinny on TV, how skinny you must be in real life!? She really looks like she's counting every single piece of food she's putting in her mouth, but it's getting better with each episode, maybe she has a spitting plate under the table... I still can't understand how somebody would put so much food at one take into his body, unless you're a Sumo wrestler.
I don’t think rating should be an issue here. This season has the highest rating compared to the previous seasons.
I don't think the rating being higher in number makes it the most successful season. Rating criteria also has changed over years, so 1.4-1.5% back in 2013/2015 till wasn't bad at that point of time considering the fact that even other successful tvn dramas had these much numbers (and not a lot of shows had greater number than 5 or 6%).Signal was such a successful show, even that ended with 8% rating and that was considered a hit. So rating evaluation criteria has sure changed over years. At present time, 2% rating is quite low since other dramas are doing so well.
Signal ended at 12.54% while it averaged at 8.8%
Yeah I meant the average.
I think BJH is the main problem of Season 3. Something looks off, maybe that she does not enjoy eating... Why is she casted? YDJ should be able to come back strong after MS because he is very well received so far, I enjoy his dramas :-)
We are followers of LET'S EAT, from season 1 to current. It feels so saddened that it will end too soon with only 14 episodes. We are apparently sad to YOON DOO JOON because he leads this show and ultimately deliver well in his role. It's unfortunate for a sudden announcement to enlist. But rest assure that we will continue watching for another season on this drama and hoping HE (YDJ) still be the lead actor. Keep it up, take cake and we're looking forward of you coming soon.
