I’m toggling between the name change for upcoming tvN drama with the Korean title Boyfriend and now the English title Encounter. I guess it’s an encounter by female lead Song Hye Kyo that gets her a boyfriend, which makes both titles especially fitting with strung together. Encounter marks Song Hye Kyo’s first drama in nearly three years since mega hit drama Descendants of the Sun in early 2016, and also her first acting project since her high profile wedding to former costar and also top actor Song Joong Ki. She plays a divorcee in this drama and I can see her stylistic transformation into a chic yet melancholy rich lady, someone living a seemingly ideal life but feeling empty and lonely inside. Her emotional world gets a jump start in the drama when she meets much young and scrappy Park Bo Gum playing a plucky twenty-something working many jobs with a can-do attitude. Encounter takes off in early November in the Wed-Thurs time slot after Hundred Million Stars Falling From the Sky.

You mean 180º, right? 360º take it to the same exact spot or level. BTW, opinions are just opinions. And those before even airing, to me, have 0 importance. I can only understand if I am interested, first, if I have time to watch it, second if the first episodes are appealing to me. Opinions are just opinions. I've already dropped dramas with big names, and positive fans "opinions", because I the story and the acting weren't appealing to me, other with same fantastic opinions that I loved it, and others with lot of criticism that I thought that were quite good.
So, we are all unique, and what is great for me, can be awful for you. Let's just wait and see. Big names without a great plot, don't turn out as great dramas. :)

I love that her character is a Female CEO so rare in kdrama land. And her outfit and hair is on point my opinion.
I don’t care for the hairstyle at all but it works for the description of the character. It’ll probably start to change as she’s changed and healed by the ~power of love~
Why cutting her hair, she’s like an auntie next to Bo Gum ?
Her character is older and far more jaded than him, so its alright if she gives that vibe. However, an auntie? Lets see when they are in one frame and showing their chemistry, to really know that.

This drama looks like it’s going to be a hit! I have a feeling those of us who were sceptical will tune in just to have a tease but will become hooked. I’m keen to watch.
Feel even more excited after looking at all these stills! Imo her hairstyle and outfits are on point here since CSH is supposed to be older and more matured than KJH. They're not trying to make SHK look younger for PBG or vice versa.
Looks like a tough role for PBG, but that boy is good. Will check this out and see.
