Aside from my love for male lead Song Joong Ki, I’m totally rooting for the baddies on the character poster visuals alone in upcoming tvN drama Arthdal Chronicles. In this day and age, when anti-heroes are given their own origin stories and headlining, it’s hard not to snigger at the innocent and wholesome types trying to win. I blame the production of Arthdal for making Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won into the pre-history Korean version of the Children of the Forest, and giving all the cool Game of Bear Thrones visuals to antagonist Jang Dong Gun and femme fatale looking Kim Ok Bin. Even wanting Arthdal to do well in the ratings and more importantly be a good sageuk drama doesn’t mean I can’t keep roasting its promos if the production keeps churning out lackluster and derivative crap.

JDG with beard is an art, hope the drama doing well
They made it too clear who's the good guys and who's the baddies here. I prefer something that is rather ambiguos on the poster, at least keeping the viewers surprised and moved totally by the plot and character development. Anyway, it's apparent that we are to be served with a Jungle Book vs Game of Thrones here. Mowgli vs Jon Snow (Ok, Jon is a good guy). Mowgli vs Khal Drago?

And the poster andxteaser is not drawn me one bit to him. He is abit lacking acting skill which usually drawn me in to the bad guy. We will see when he is in motion for long hour.
I have to admit, i have quite impress with Kim Ji Won in some teaser I saw. Hopefuly, it will be her turning point come into her own as an actor? We will see.
I remember Joong Ki interview which saying he is drawn to Km Myung Min char in White tower and drawn to his antiheroes persona and willingly want to take that kind of roles one day.
