I am so so so freaking insanely in love with tvN drama Hotel Del Luna. This is wild love, and of the type that is coupled with appreciation for the wonderful characters and writing in the collective world building. I already teared up in episode 2 when IU‘s hotel manager retired and then promptly went to the great beyond. Now episode 3 gives me a sweet as heck love story to be revealed that grounds IU’s character Jang Man Wol into her current immortal bind running a hotel for ghost. She’s clearly waiting for her man and paying penance for something she did/choice made that revolved around him thousands of years ago.
I’m guessing her lover boy is cutie Lee Do Hyun but it could also be also cutie Lee Tae Sun, both of whom revolve around Man Wol when she was a female bandit leader. I kinda want the story to stay in the past more right now because I want to see what kind of love for a man made Man Wol into the person she is today, all steely bitterness with tightly wound hurt and cynicism. Audiences clearly are enjoying the drama more as well as episode 3 hit 8.281% ratings, beating its predecessor Arthdal Chronicles which never managed to hit 8% despite its huge budget.

Hong sisters are back.
I have never been so invested in Hong sisters' dramas,until i watched this drama. I like Singer IU and i also enjoy his acting in this drama.
But, i enjoyed watching arthdal as much as i did to hotel del luna. Well, koreans have their own preferences when it comes to dramas. But i hope, arthdal s3 will get better.
Cant wait for ep 4 of hotel del luna and s3 of arthdal. Both are amazing on their own ways.
Hong sisters have their mojo back and iu is literal queen in this drama. The combination of their writing and her brilliant acting is what makes this drama a masterpiece. Plus her costume stylists deserve an award for the brilliant clothes she has worn in this drama till now. Now that iu has proven her ability to carry and bring in ratings for a drama focused entirely on her character the awards, cfs and offers will be pouring in even more than before. The new queen of kdrama and eternal queen of music is here to stay.

This drama is getting more interesting. Episode 3 has definitely created more buzz than the first two episodes. It has started to have humour in the dialogue in this episode too. IU is doing great and YJG is doing amazing as well. Well done!
Gave this drama a try because of the male lead but it doesn’t work for me.
IU is a cutie and is showing acting skills (first time seeing her), but I think her darling looks are counterproductive to the cunning badass, she tries to impersonate. There are other actresses who pull the cunning type better.

I'm liking it more and more with every episode. The scenes where we could see Man Wol waiting for her lover moved me to tears. And I'm also warming up to the couple. Can this young guy make her fall in love again?

What a fun episode, yjg character is growing in me now. What a talent young man, his acting is so natural. I already love Iu character since ep 1, but still not buying her acting, hope she improve ? still lmfao Park Ildo, that punk!
