K-actor Kim Dong Wook always does edgy or oddball selections so it’s surprising to see that his next project feels like old school throwback Hallyu melodrama romance. Find Me in Your Memory pairs Kim Dong Wook with Moon Ga Young falling in love despite him having photographic memory and her not remembering her past. I guess going forward he can do the remembering for her? MBC is doing small ratings in the time slot so clearly this drama isn’t aiming that high but it does look quite lovely with all the right visual touches. A movie star female lead with sassy attitude and likely past trauma and a male lead who looks cold and competent but is really a good warm guy inside. It’s the stuff that anchors many a K-drama romance and what comes of it depends on the lead chemistry and a compelling hook. I hope the memory element in this drama provides that narrative spark.

I don't do romance dramas but it's nice to see Kim Dong-wook getting the attention he's long deserved. Looks like he's slimmed down quite a bit from Inspector Jo.
She is looking a little like Kim Hee-sun here.
This looks lovely jubley and I like both leads too so will check this out when 8 episodes have run. I'm done with the 2 episodes a week watch I found my enthusiasm dampens but bingeing 8 eps in one sitting definitely piques my interest and commitment to seeing it to the end.
I like both actors. I'm happy to see the both of them with main roles!
THe support cast is nice too. I love Kim Seul Gi!
