Rookie Actor Nam Yoon Soo Joins Ro Woon and Park Eun Bin in Sageuk Romance Drama Affection

The news is slim on this one so let’s just take it for face value. K-news is reporting that rookie actor Nam Yoon Soo, who coincidentally I just watched onscreen for the first time last weekend with a memorable role as the junior police officer in Beyond Evil (Monster), is putting on his sageuk big boy pants in an upcoming next role. He will join unconfirmed but still discussed as signed on leads Park Eun Bin and Ro Woon for the romance period drama Affection, adapted from the same name manhwa. It’s about a Joseon King who is a woman in disguise to keep the throne safe and a man who once lived as a woman in disguise. Nam Yoon Soo feels like he came out of nowhere and is now getting his big break fast, he debuted only last year in 2020 with small supporting roles in Extracurricular and Birthcare Center. He is eyecatching, when I watched him in BE I actually noted his character as either nice guy serial killer bait or the hidden real secret killer lol. Affection air on KBS in the second half of 2021 by the PD of Another Oh Hae Young and The Beauty Inside.
