jTBC Confirms K-drama Insider with Leads Kang Ha Neul and Lee Yoo Young
Winning the Baeksang Best Actor in a Drama Category in 2020 means industry eyes are on Kang Ha Neul to see what television projects he picks next and whether it’s another success. He’s confirmed to go with cable network JTBC drama Insider, which has gotten a first half of 2022 time slot. It’s described as a personal growth thriller story with the male lead being a law student who goes deep into an investigation and falls down an abyss, he ends staking his life on a gambling ring in a penitentiary and wins the biggest hand of his life which starts his return. Joining Kang Ha Neul will be actress Lee Yoo Young, who remains one of the underrated and under-hyped actresses of her gen group but that was sorta like Kang Ha Neul before he broke out. The drama is from the PD of Miss Ma and Missing: The Other Side with the screenwriter of Priest penning the script.
