It’s a bad then good news in one bundle about K-actress Park So Dam this week. Her agency revealed that the star is taking a work hiatus after recovering from thyroid cancer surgery. She was diagnosed recently after undergoing a routine medical exam and since it’s a less aggressive type of cancer and it was caught early she was able to quickly get surgery and is expected to make a full recovery. I’m shocked to hear her cancer diagnosis but relieved it was able to get treated and expect her to be fully healthy in the near future and beyond. Wishing her a safe, comforting holiday season as she nestles down to put her health and recovery first.
