• Can someone tell me what the hype is all about Lee Min-Ho? I watched his series and movies but to me, he is not much of a great actor. Maybe someone can tell me why he seems so popular in some countries?

  • he is a hallyu star/celebrity. not a good actor imo. his dramas (bof and heirs) by playing as rich boys hit big. time will tell if he can prove his acting in pachinko

    • IMO he’s average to good. Didn’t like the heir nor boys over the flower but many people did. And as u said the dramas were big hit. So surely some people liked his acting and others don’t. I don’t like to discredit others so good for him?

    • Have always felt LMH got lucky, VERY LUCKY. He entered the entertainment industry at an opportune time. Got casted in a popular drama that was loved by k viewers and international viewers that have just been introduced to the world of K-entertainment. There are so many k-actors more talented and better looking than LMH, yet he still has a bigger fan base than most. LMH must have done something good in his previous life. Haha

• The dude is not the great actor, passable more ofthen but he was never really bad aside from BOF and he is one actor who doesn't really make a buzz aside when he has drama project. You don't really hear about his private life and such so I just don't have much to say about him.

  Regarding Squid Game popularity, let's see for the long run since I felt that even game of thrones and stranger things is nowhere mentioned nowadays, we don't know what the next phase of drama have in the future.

      As of LMH the guy made me a Kdrama fan.Acting aside he is a decent person and I find his acting as good as the majority of many other recognizable K actors.He always will be a true Hallyu King because like me many through him get introduced to K dramas.

  • So true, @Kayla, there is always a new drama to stole the spot ! I must say that even i didn't watch Squid Game yet and Game of Thrones wasn't my cup of tea . Currently binge watching "Endeavour " Itv's drama with Shaun Evans . I just love it . For the ones who like good polar/ suspens dramas , i highly recommend it , and Oxford city is so beautiful . British actors are really good too .
