It’s the third week of airing for Twenty Five, Twenty One and Forecasting Love and Weather and its facing the more typical big line up of competing K-dramas which are back after Olympic hiatus, and for one drama after scandal hiatus. Episode 3 of Twenty Five dropped below 8% to 7.956% and for Forecasting Love and Weather it dropped from 7% down to 6.103%. These numbers may be what both drama will stay at for the remainder of its run. For the returnees it was all lower then when it went on break. Through the Darkness came back with 5.1% which is a drama low, Tracer got 5.0%, 6.2% which is also lower than any episode in the first half got. Taejong Lee Bang Won, which didn’t air for 5 weeks after a horse died during filming, is also back to airing and brought in 8.0%, and before that incident its ratings had reached 11%. There is also a new drama started this Saturday, season 3 of Marriage Lyrics and Divorce Music which swapped out a few of the male leads from the prior two seasons, and it premiered to 5.240% and 6.293% for TV Chosun which proves this mega makjang drama still has legs.

FYI Admin, you can watch all episodes of Tracer drama season 2 on OTT Wavve. That answers the reason why Tracer's rating is not as big as before :). There seems to be something odd here between Wavve and MBC.
That does not matter. OTT viewers are different group of viewers so as TV viewers.
Also, they aired two episodes on Saturday instead of resuming on Friday like Through the Darkness.
Through the darkness actually resumed on Friday and it got 8pc ratings.
I was right , 2521 and weather forecast ratings were high because of Olympics. The competition isn't easy especially with that makjang drama airing rn.

I will never understand why kdramas report ratings in the form of percentages. Unless we know what number these percentages are percentages of we have no idea what they mean. More specifically, it is fairly pointless to compare two percentages.
For example, Wikipedia lists the actual viewership numbers for both 25/21 and Forecasting. These tell us that an episode of 25/21 on average is viewed by 1.9M people, while an episode of Forecast is viewed on average by 1.46M people. That also means that 25/21 is viewed by close to 75% more people than Forecast - something it is impossible to know if you only report unspecified percentages.
I really wonder what is the reason for not just reporting actual viewership numbers. It is such a strange practice.

It's not just some percentages, it's a Nielsen system and it is a standard practice to showcase the viewership not just in South Korea in other countries as well, including the US.
I'm surprised FLAW had a much bigger drop than 2521 since it has less competition on Saturdays than 2521. 2125 held up really well.

Eventhough 2521 does interest me, I Will not watch it till it finishes and ends solid. I just don't trust romance type shows like that, it recently happened with hometown too which was good till ep10.
