Dang, I’m starting to get wayyyyy too excited for this drama. Seo In Guk isn’t even in my fave actors bunch but I’ve never disliked him in any role and the ones that don’t work for me the problem is with the script/directing, but when he’s in the right drama like in Answer Me 1997, Shopping King Louie and Hello Monster it’s amazing. The upcoming KBS drama Minamdang looks like it will tap into his versatility and quirkiness as he plays a former criminal profiler turned spiritual shaman/shyster but who somehow still solves his clients problems. The power of deduction is priceless and powerful indeed. I love whatever God on a Throne energy he’s serving up in these new stills, and the new drama poster is so creative and fun, using the tools of a shaman displayed rather than arraying the faces of the leads.

Thanks Koala! KSY stills & everything else. I totally love the poster too and plotline involving shamanism. One of my late Mum's good friends was an actual female shaman. When I was a baby sick with high fever, mum grabbed some of my baby clothes to see her to get "blessed." She swore that I "miraculously recovered" after she saw the shaman. The female shaman would also burn some "blessing papers" and tip the ashes into a glass water for clients to drink. Others opted for a small blessing pouch to wear as a talisman. Every time I hear these stories I was like eeeewwwww. Lol
The shaman book reminded me of my grandparents' ancient lottery number book with pictographs. Theirs was black and white. The stills are very interesting showing plenty of shenanigans by the Minam squad. I just hope that this drama is entertaining and funny. I really miss the comedic In Guk.
I love Seo In Guk to bits that I'll watch everything he's in, his last drama didn't do it for me but (I don't think it did for anyone to be sincere) but I still got to a point in the drama because of him.
SIG is very versatile but I think I prefer him in these kind of roles so this one is definitely going into my watchlist.
