Will the first K-drama romance set in outer space be any good? No clue? Will leads Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Min Ho generate astronomical levels of chemistry? Prolly not but all I need for them to do is try. Will I watch Ask the Stars? OH HELLS YEAH! This kind of budget busting tentpole K-dramas is what I crave K-ent to put out at least one a year, it’s shoot for the stars (pun intended) and perhaps crash and burn but at least there was an attempt to go bigger. The first stills are out and it shows the two leads in what looks like a space station interior and also in a full space suit but still indoors. He’s an OB/GYN doctor and she’s an astronaut and love on earth may not have sparked but in space one has few options and the two hottest young people will clearly gravitate towards each other. Okay, that’s way too many space jokes and I’m out.
There are weird casting choices and this one is weird from both the leads itself…
Well this is an interesting pairing, setting aside the age difference at least I can…
I swear I just wrote about Song Joong Ki having his first baby and then…
At the end of the day, the core of any good drama remains the Story,…
If I didn't know this drama was a romance set in space and done K-drama…
If Wang Xing Yue ever needs extra money he can be a professional dubber for…

I think that Gong Hyo Jin manages to have chemistry with all her costars, on the other hand Lee Min Ho barely have any chemistry with his. So it will be interesting to see them together
I like Gong Hyo Jin she has good chemistry and see going actress love her. Lee Min Ho is absolutely amazing actor tho and due has good chemistry. I think people have been waiting for him and this is gonna be another fast food drama that gets overly consumed as per usual like Lee Min Ho dramas. He is the fast-food chain actor he truly gets to the masses providing fast food dramas.
They have apparently worked hard to film this drama like 10-12 months filming with huge budget.
Now that being said still people shouldn't come into this drama having high expectations it is better to keep the expectations low and get surprised instead of coming with moon high expectations.
I am pretty sure they just want people to have good times with themselves hence I never go into a drama with expectations.. Whatever can surprise I am in for it
I'm really interested in this show just because of the premise. I think it's a good idea to blend romcom with the outer space theme. I might prefer that over a subpar full blown sci-fi like how underwhelming The Silent Sea was. I was expecting this to be on the fantasy side a la My Love from the Stars, but these stills look pretty realistic which is a nice surprise.
Sci fi,big budget drama and will aired in tvn?Get ready it will be flop like arthdal chronicle. What happend with pachinko?Where emmy nomination?Did he get any award this year?
Lee min Ho is an amazing actor as are all Korean actors watched so so many I can't say I have seen 1 bad actor they are all amazing even if the have taken a baddie rool still Al amazing give me Korean actors any day
Just random user reading this comment. You must be a fan who stanning a basic nugu actor and jealous for his achievement lol
Personally, I am not enthused of LMH choices of dramas and co stars. The King was a huge disappointment both in the story, direction and female lead. Now this, too.
I know so many people adore Lee Min Ho but I don't like him at all. He is like a giant void on screen for me, with zero chemistry with his partners. On the other hand, the premise of this is something that I would love to watch so I am kind of sad. I will try I guess but I don't have much hope.
For me, in terms of dramas, he peaked with Boys Over Flowers.
To be Honest, for me, it was the only time i liked his chemistry with his then co star.
Oh yes, I agree with that. It's the one time everything worked.
It's better to have no expectations at all and then be pleasantly surprised. 2022 has been a lacklustre year for k-dramas except for a few gems like EAW, LW and Reborn Rich. The writing are mostly horrendous, started off well then dropped off the cliff. Mostly misses than hits. That's just my personal thought though, am sure others will beg to differ.
What does LW stand for?
Little Women, the twist and turns & 12 eps length is just right. Most impressed with the production value, strong directing and writing except for In Kyung and Jong Ho's shoehorned romance & kiss which was awkward, forced and didn't fit well into the overall dark tones of the drama. Same as EAW, things went well until they pushed PEB & KTO's sweet romance too much. The flawed romance part is just a minor hiccup, overall, I really enjoyed EAW & Little Women this year.
Two hottest young people??? You were being sarcastic, right? Hot is subject, but there’s no way the leads are considered young people, unless you’re comparing them to seniors.
This is in reference to the scientists. Usually one needs a PHD for this so minimum starting age would be 31 or 32 hence these guys are relatively young. This is not a high school set up.
Regardless of their profession, they are not "young people". Gong Hyo Jin is in her 40s.
Lee min Ho is an amazing actor as are all Korean actors watched so so many I can't say I have seen 1 bad actor they are all amazing even if the have taken a baddie rool still Al amazing give me Korean actors any day
I am looking forward to this. A refreshing storyline, great leads.
Not sure why but even though I know she is a good actress I never like Gong Hyo Jin's characters. Lee Min Ho is a mediocre actor.
