New Posters for Period C-drama Wonderland of Love Turns Xu Kai into Every Noona’s Boy Toy with Jing Tian Teasing Her Cutie

I don’t think it’s intentional as an acting niche but recently Xu Kai has been on a noona conquering warpath in his C-drama picks. She and Her Perfect Husband was probably the pinnacle of that but he’s also done it in xianxia drama Ancient Love Poetry and coming up he’s going for it again in period romance Wonderland of Love. He’s actually very watchable even as a not very good actor, haha color me with rose-colored noona lenses, but it’s not good for his long term career prospects to keep doing similar types of roles. The new posters for Wonderland of Love is totally leaning into his cute boy visuals but at least Jing Tian looks super into him.
