I feel like this movie could be one long joke dragged out for 2 hours until the punch line, but then again Extreme Jobs with Honey Lee and Gong Myung in their first movie together sounded the same on paper but was incredibly engaging and hilarious. Upcoming Killing Romance is really a three person and three act type of comedic caper – Honey Lee as an actress with terrible reviews who marries a rich eccentric island billionaire played by Lee Seon Kyun, then lives a miserable life and seeks ton escape, then plots with her uber fan played by Gong Myung to off her hubby. The preview makes the movie look absolutely bonkers but in a way that K-flicks can pull off with the right dexterity. Even the PD is raving about Lee Seon Kyun being so into character it will be hard to watch him in other stuff so this should be fun!

I've been following their interviews and it looks downright hilarious. LSK said he wore the wig a month before the movie shoot to get into character and his kids were so embarrassed when he went to the park with them in the wig.
This is so random. Looks like a add morea than a movie. It'll be surprising if it becomes big hit. Korean do have really different taste.
