This summer 2023 C-actress Dilraba Dilmurat has been at fashion shows, events, and will soon film a travel variety show. Reportedly she’s picked her next C-drama and it’s a period female lead centric story with the title Wanzha Chaohuang (万渣朝凰). If it’s the same title as the manhwa then it’s a soul hopping time travel story where the female lead goes to different eras to destroy and revenge on cheating asshole men. A lot of times manhwa or game story adaptations to dramas get major story changes so I will wait and see what this one is about. The search is on for the male lead.

Gorgeous girl, she's the best-dressed for Dior in this recent Paris Fashion Week imo. And yeah she'll be joining Divas Hit the Road S5.
I hope this new drama will bring a fresh look at her acting. She had reprised similar acting style so much that has become stale and her outstanding visuals did not help at all. She can act but I feel similar to many A-list C actresses (e.g., Yang Mi and Yang Zi), Reba needs some fresh ideas injected into her acting range to not remind me of the actress herself in the role she plays. Perhaps a drama of very different genres from what she's comfortable with will do justice to her gifts? She doesn't need female-centric dramas all the time to show off her potential but pairing with appropriate MLs exuding strong chemistry sells her acting better. You Are My Glory is a good example that she succeeded.
I think the problem is that a lot of C-actors just churn out drama after drama with barely any breaks. There is no time for reflection or improvement.
Also I'm not sure if it's still the case for DD now she is a star but a lot of C-actors have no say in what dramas they act in. They just have to do the dramas the agency selects for them.
I didn't expect to find you here, pick-me.
Yeah it's would be good if she chooses roles like zhao lusi
