• 1986 and 1996 , they have a 10 year age gap in a drama that doesn’t need an age gap. This trend needs to end. Age gap romances are good when it’s written into the plot not when we have pretend they’re in the same or similar age bracket.

  • Lol “no star power”? You don't have to like him, but at least be objective. At the height of his popularity, he had tons of big brand endorsements and his last drama was a hit both domestically and internationally. He was also supposed to have a movie with Yoona and I'm sure had other big offers as well, before the scandal. He always won popularity awards as well and was once included in Forbes Korea Power Celebrities list. Koreans clearly liked him pre-scandal. Not sure what you mean by “no star power” lmao

    • I agree w/ you to some extent. Kim Seonho isn’t a no body and has 1 drama where he was the lead which did well. However, I wouldn’t go as far as claiming he has real star power. Popularity awards never actually translate to ratings or CEW wouldn’t have 2% and unpopular dramas all the time. He is a way better actor than CEW tho, so while I don’t think he has any real star power pull in making a drama successful by itself (whether it be ratings or tropicality), with the help of a good script and costar, he can boost a drama’s popularity no doubt.

• GYJ did decent jobs in two hit dramas, Moving and AoS II. She's still young and has a lot of potential. She's way better than younger Suzy. So, comparing her with AoS I saying she can't act is just personal bias and not fair to her.

  Not a fan of either leading actor, neither a fan of romance genre unless there are twists and turns in a plot with surprising suspension. Who's this guy? But Hong Sisters wrote a few dramas I love including The Greatest Love, You're Beautiful, Master's Sun, and surely AoS. So, I'll check this out.

  • GYJ’s filmography has been more diverse then many established actresses simply because the current environment offers far more opportunities for current acts. She has managed to Stansd her ground w/ each roles. When I look at the prior dramas I see a different person every time. So I agree that she is far better then many other actress who were at the same stage as she was. Her looks also help too.

    • You mentioned seeing her different in different roles. I totally agree with that. When I watched AoS II, I wasn't aware she's the girl in Moving at all until I googled her. Being versatile is one of very important characteristics for me to consider having good potential.

      Even nobody complained about her under this post. There are many fans of AoS I bitching about her Kdrama forums including some other threads on this site, for replacing their beloved FL in AoS I, saying she couldn't act.

• Yuck! What are GYJ's team thinking?😯 She is one of the hottest, most popular young actresses coming off two hits. Meanwhile, KSH is tainted hasbeen with a sleazy reputation, hasn't had a drama for years and too old for her love interest. The drama has also already been turned down by other actors and Hong Sisters writing is so weak. Their dramas are basically sustained by the chemistry between leads but who wants to ship these two together? 🤮

  Her team should have steered clear of this. She is certainly getting better offers with better male leads. I get she has a good relationship with the Hong Sisters after AoS but this isn't worth it.

• I'm happy that Kim Sun-Ho is back. He's a great actor. Not sure about this pairing. I don't agree with the majority and I don't find Go Yoon-Jung very beautiful (she is but not extraordinary for me) and the whole plot about her beauty in AoS 2 didn't work. She's a good actress but the difference of age is big.

  • Wow we're apparently in the minority here who likes Kim Seon Ho and are glad he's back lol. I don't get why people feel so affected by his personal life stuff, and it's not like he SA-d someone or committed any crime, so I don't understand the hate comments here. I also agree that with you that I don't see the hype for GYJ's visuals, she's pretty but not miles prettier than other pretty Korean actresses, so I don't understand the fuss. She's a good actress tho, so I'm quite interested how this pairing will pan out

• I admit, I loved him in his last drama w/ SMN, but his scandal, although, i don’t think he is wrong at all. However, as an actor, that scandal tainted my image of him and its overwhelming brings that constant images of his image w/ his ex and the unborn child & all his issues. So I had really hope they find another leading man, because there are many actors that can surely do justice. However, it’s Clear they are dead serious about him for the roles.

  If one thing this production had going for them right is HanHeeSo, rejecting this role. Otherwise, this drama will really be over broad mess.

  I’ve watch all of HongSis drama, and whenever the drama description comes out about their upcoming projects, Whenever, I have an impression that the drama sound very interesting…. Those are the ones that actually become hit…sadly this drama description is not interesting. But I hope my impression are wrong, because I never want this dramas to fail (I heard the budget is no joke and there will be overseas filming too).

• I think Kim Sun Ho can play to the Hong sisters’ writing strengths, I always liked his acting a lot. But the last thing we need is a potentially skeevy feeling age gap.

• I dont know how well they would pair up. Have not been a fan of his acting. GYJ im pretty impressed in the range of characters and dramas shes picked. She comes off as mature and believable in her deliveries.
  On d age gap thg. Although im not a fan of it. 10yr would be ickly between a 19 and 29 yr old but GYJ is 28. Shes not that young. Its jus that her role as a school student in Moving might have stuck in oir minds. Theres lot of huge gap real couples so its nothing to gasp over realistically.
  My biggest worry would be the storyline. The sypnopsis doesnt really grab me. My fav works from them was Master's sun, and that was a decade ago.

• Not a fan of Kim Seonho even before the scandal. He just doesnt click with me and I always felt this weird ick when I watch him. Its the same feeling I have with with Lee Jinwook who btw doesnt have any scandals so far so my intuition is just that - an intuition.

  Anyway, no no no to this pairing. He looks his age and so does she so there is no covering that huge age gap. Hong sisters are also very hot and cold. I am assuming the only reason GYJ agreed to this is because of her past working relationship with them.
