Of course shippers of this onscreen couple would feel like a dream come true if they were to date, and it has actually already happened that an onscreen Domyouji and Makino dated. The C-drama version Let’s Go Watch the Meteor Shower leads Hans Zhang and Zheng Shuang are now dating so it’s not impossible for HanaDan reel to become real. The rumors of MatsuJun and Mao dating have been going on for YEARS, ranging from tons of eyewitness accounts of them on dates to them attending Oguri Shun and Yamada Yu‘s wedding together, wearing a matching couple’s ring, and even to friends of that couple meeting Jun and Mao at Shun’s house. This week Friday magazine, one of Japan’s top tabloids, published pictures of Jun and Mao out on a late night date in a Tokyo restaurant, though they weren’t alone and mutual friend Ikuta Toma was also in tow. I wouldn’t be surprised if these two went public soon if even the tabloids are outing them now.

He's a Johnny. AFAIK, the only one who has been allowed to marry is Kimura Takuya, and thats because he got his gf, who was also a big star, pregnant. Johnny totally controls the personal lives of the idols in his stable. That control is felt to be essential to their success. So, if you want the fame and fortune, you are close to your bandmates and no one else, even if it drives you to run screaming and totally naked into a quiet park in the middle of the night.

I love them both!!! It'll be great if they'll confirm their relationship since the rumors have been going on forever but if not I'm still happy for them. Their chemistry is sizzling in HYD add to that that they acted out their parts so well. Inoue Mao is the best Makino portrayal for me!

The rumors have been going on so long that if they'd never been spotted and just had a wedding, no one would be surprised, just gleefully overjoyed for them. However, it wouldn't be a shock if they've been married for three years either. Lol. They have SO much support, I don't see the need for "secrecy" but if it's all about being private, well, that comes down to prerogative.
Whether they have a romance or not, it's just great seeing them together. It keeps the dream alive!! All fans ever need is hope. Now I just want my other J dream couple to be seen together and my year will be made!

I have been squeeing as soon as I read it on twitter. They are my ultimate otp. Something big may happen soon with all these tabloid releases. But I worry for inoue Mao because she garnered this much attention lately partly because of her coming taiga drama.
