The extent of the sexual harassment allegations against veteran actor Jo Min Ki is starting to come to light and it’s horrific. No wonder the university fired him so quickly, though one wonders how long the university has known but turned the other cheek until more people vocally spoke out in recent days. Currently there are more than five victims who have given police statements about being sexually harassed by Jo Min Ki when they were students in his acting class where he was the professor. Apparently his behavior was so well known the male students had a written protocol on how to protect their female classmates – never let a girl student go see Jo Min Ki alone and don’t drink at events so they could stay sober and protect the girls. UGH!!!!! I hope his ass gets jail time though it feels like too little and too late. The police has stated that once its investigation is complete with victim interviews it will summon Jo Min Ki for questioning.

Don't know whether to smile that those male students are so nice and supportive to their female classmates, or to be furious at this bastards audacity to be so openly a predator knowing there's no consequence. Ugh, he should be disgusted at himself. Young men half his age has the heart and the brains to be so level headed in wake of him being a snake.
I hope this means there's hope for the younger generations, that there are higher chance these issues will be much less repeated in the future.
I think highly of those young men for having the decency to protect their female friends and classmates and go so far as to have protocols in place, but I also feel rage that such a thing was needed in the first place because of that monster and the university that enabled and shielded him and turned a blind eye to their own students' suffering. I can't believe I had a good impression of him before the allegations came out. Goes to show that no matter how you think you know celebrities, the truth is you know nothing about them or their lives. Here's hoping that justice is served and this guy will face actual legal consequences for his actions.
Those men who protected their classmates from this predator were well raised and the hope of our future. Those women who came forward with their painful experiences are brave and strong. I hope Jo Min Ki will forever regret this.

It's so impressive but at the same time, very disturbing that those young men had to have a protocol to protect their female peers. I can't even continue to read the detailed allegations against some of these men, it's just so disturbing and my heart breaks for his victims. I hope the law doesn't let them down this time. Other abusers (hopefully in different circles like politics and business) probably have a hard time sleeping at night.
I'm also waiting and desperately hoping for individuals in powerful positions to be exposed, the purge has to occur at the top too and they are always the most protected class of abusers.
I really hope it doesn't stop or just fizzle out, abusers need to be exposed and action is necessary for it. Firing rapist actors from dramas is just a start but I hope the people behind the scenes (producers, investers) who deal in such behaviour are exposed too.
