There is a whole lot of smiles and strong emotive punctuations for the upcoming KBS drama Hello! It’s Me? I’m going to have to remember to add the exclamation and then the period and pray the actual drama doesn’t come across as cutesy as the title is trying to be. Starring Choi Kang Hee, Kim Young Kwang, and Eum Moon Suk, the drama has our thirtysomething female lead cross paths with her teenage self in order to revert her to being the stronger and more go-getter person she used to be. We all need a boost of early years optimism and energy, before life and its myriad real life problems have chipped away at our dreams. This will be one of the first new dramas to air, premiering in January 2021, so let’s hope it delivers that breath of fresh air with plenty of good cheer.

I adore Kim Young Kwang but he often picks dramas I either don’t care about or female leads I have an allergy for. I’m skipping this, but I hope he can do something similar to Secret Life of my Secretary soon. While the drama is so-so, the chemistry was superb!
