Well it’s certainly a double dose of good news for Im Soo Hyang and probably a karma payment for her last drama being neigh unwatchable (and pulled off streaming sites in Korea) due to her male lead bullying scandal. She has just been cast as the female lead opposite So Ji Sub in his comeback drama in four years Dr. Lawyer which will air in early 2022. This is a high profile role to get as the project is highly anticipated within K-ent and of course being So Ji Sub’s female lead is definitely a step up. She’s also going to star in the K-remake of Jane the Virgin announced in July with her male lead now confirmed as Sung Hoon, a reunion of the two from New Tales of the Gisaeng which made both big weekend drama stars ten years ago. Congrats to Im Soo Hyang and clearly 2022 is looking great for her career.

Didn’t ISH and SH star together in the KBS weekender Five Kids with SHS? That was in 2015 only 6 years ago.
No that was Shin Hye Sun paired with SH in the drama. She was I think paired with another guy.
Koala, where is article about seoul drama award?
Where is the Brand Award 2021?
Good news for her but not for me, her acting ruining not one but two dramas for me.
