Disney+ Releases First Poster and Preview for Fantasy Angels v. Demons K-drama Twelve with Ma Dong Seok, Park Hyung Sik, and Seo In Guk
Streaming platform Disney+ is trying trying to find another K-drama hit to try and recreate the success of Moving back in fall of 2023. With a big star cast, fantasy elements, and a good v. evil battle component, upcoming K-drama Twelve could be that long awaited next hit. The first poster and trailer is out for the K-drama starring Ma Dong Seok, Park Hyung Sik, Seo In Guk, Lee Joo Bin, Ko Kyung Pil, Kang Mina, and many more leads to for titular twelve angels in human form battling the demon sent by the big bad devil himself. Looks like cutie pie Park Hyung Sik plays the main antagonist here in an against type casting and should make for some great love to hate him moments. Check out the trailer as the drama is about one month away from its August 23rd premiere next month.
Preview for Twelve:

Park Hyung Sik looks like a cross between Seo Kang Joon and Bai Jing Ting to me.
Ma Dong Seok and Seo In Guk reunited after 38 squad? Yes. I’ve been waiting for this reunion for a long time.
I am really looking forward to this. I love the three leads and the previous collaboration of Seo In Guk and Ma and Ma Dong Seok. And now Park Hyung Sık is also in. I hope this is good.
I hope it’s not lackluster like Island.
Why is the movie called Twelve…is it referenced to 12 disciples? Will there be a sequel named 13, a bad one in the midst, a betrayer.
It’s not a movie.
I wonder what is the budget on this production… the actors alone will cost a lot. Then the rest. Looks good.
Park Hyung Sik doesn’t look credible to me as an antagonist in the trailer but I’ll wait for the episodes to see if he shows the energy. I hope I’m wrong and get a surprise.
Beautiful appearance and extremely charming in disguise — that’s exactly the biblical concept about Satan. So, his gorgeous looks are fitting. lol. The challenging part is the acting. I’m so curious how he will fare cuz that should be a very complex but intriguing character.
Hope it gets better ratings than the abysmal ratings of network dramas so far this year.
I feel like I’m going to hate hating Park Hyung-shik because he looks so good here. Looks like the drama could be fun!
I just realized that Disney loves to bring many popular actors in one drama. While N, only needs one or two but some of them are successfully accepted by the audiences.
I am currently binge watching Trigger on Netflix. It’s amazing. Highly recommended.
Park Hyung Sik as a villain, count me in. I love seeing actor taking different roles in every project. Good for him.
I noticed that too!! I just started on Trigger too. All eps are up.
Well, Squid Game season 1 has Lee Byung Hun, Lee Jung Jae and Gong Yoo. All top-tier actors. In the Disney Plus new drama, only Ma Dong Suk can be called an A-lister. In season 2 and 3, Squid Game added Kang Haneul and Im Siwan who are in the same tier as Seo In Guk and Park Hyung Sik.
Been busy recently and lag behind the drama update. So excited to learn quite a few interesting dramas airing or coming.
This Disney+ project is in the genre for me. I’m intrigued not only by the cast by mainly by the synopsis. I just dragged through much anticipated Good Boy that ended up a bit underwhelming. I’m hoping for more excitement in the 2nd half of 2025. Kdrama goddess still treats me well with quite a few old ones though.
It feels a missed opportunity not to have this Korean folklore based but maybe it will be
