So this drama already looks like a love it or hate it proposition, or basically it’s your cup of tea or not at all. iQiyi is prepping to release How Dare You! soon, with scheduling rumors has it will air next week in early February 2026 maybe on the 5th or 6th. The drama is adapted from a novel where both the female and male lead transmigrate to the past within a novel separately but must plot together to avoid their fates in the novel as the second leads who end up dead. So it has shades of A Dream within a Dream and Extraordinary You type narrative and from the just released trailer it seems to skew very very comedic. That kinda works for me because the leads are Wang Chu Ran and Cheng Lei and both have onscreen reputations as playing serious and even stoic type roles so the total reversal of expectations may work in their favor. I for one am in the excited and this is right up my alley camp so bring it on!
