Lee Young Ae and Yoo Ji Tae to Star in Healing Romance K-drama Jae Ae’s Young In — 2 Comments

  1. I don’t see the romance appeal with (almost) middle-aged protagonists in KDRAMAS in particular. It’s good if it’s not used as a main resource e.g. Tempest. In all the ones I’ve watched, the different stages of life are not well addressed and the characters end up acting like teenagers.

  2. I love them both, and I do hope that @Hyu’s concern from above does not manifest itself. I’m exhausted by all the high school and college love stories as if people can’t find love again when they are older. But I also get the exhaustion when we do get older actors (my age) with romance scripts as if they were still 20. I do not care about the same things as I did when I was twenty. But people my age are having interesting and exciting lives. My best friend fell in love again after a terrible marriage, and I am so happy for her, and I’m definitely enjoying watching this love more than the terrible guy she married. 😀
