Written Preview for Episode 7 of 49 Days
I asked for a game-changer at the end of my recap for episode 6 of 49 Days, and the drama gods may have answered me based on the written preview for episode 7. I do like how ALL the rules in 49 Days are beyond arbitrary and capricious, changing as quickly as the wind. Hey, if you go fantasy, and you can’t keep a logical set of fantasy rules, I’m happy to embrace random and whatever as the fall back option, because it means anything can happen. With that said, my hope for the last few weeks still remains – please let this week’s episodes wow and engage me emotionally.
Written preview for episode 7 of 49 Days:
Because Yi Kyung missed work without permission, she receives a notice from the convenience store that she has been fired. Yi Kyung cannot sleep because her Circadian rhythms have been disrupted. Ji Hyun watches Yi Kyung sitting against the wall. Because Ji Kyung needs to go to work at Min Ho’s house, Ji Hyun starts to fret.
Ji Hyun finally enters the body of an exhausted and passed out Yi Kyung. She is curious about Yi Kyung’s past life, so she starts rifling through Yi Kyung’s box of things. Ji Hyun is startled by Yi Kyung’s sudden awakening from her dream state, and Ji Hyun gets pushed out of Yi Kyung’s body.
Yi Kyung sees the box which is open and been searched through, and her entire room in a mess, and decides to give up on everything. Yi Kyung decides to kill herself again. Ji Hyun hurriedly calls Scheduler.

Whoa! That is a game-changer! And an interesting one, too. I hope there’s a lot of the Scheduler involved… ^_^
I’ve actually been fairly impressed how logical the “rules” of this host-inhabitation have been. I mean, the Scheduler does keep springing some things on Ji-hyun that he hadn’t told her upfront…but isn’t that more natural than not? I especially like that Ji-kyung’s antics are taking a tole on Yi-kyung; anyone who hasn’t been sleeping because they’ve been running around possessed by another person’s soul should be feeling the effects.

I know this is Ji Hyun’s story, but I’m glad that we’ll see more of Yi Kyung and hopefully get more of her backstory. I’d love for her to be a full-fledged character and not jut a body-suit that Ji Hyun puts on every morning. 🙂
thanks for the preview! from the preview at the end of the last episode, I had assumed that Yi kyung was not going to sleep out of spite; she seemed to suspect something was happening to her body when she slept…but the circadian rhythm explanation also makes sense. Can’t wait to watch this on Wednesday!

I have zero liking for YK (that suicide attempt was atrocious – way to injure a lot of people and potentially cause someone to live with guilt of killing another, and show zero interest in it) but I am interested in how she got there so yay.
I agree….so selfish of her. But then she was wrapped up in her own grief. I think she will find out eventually how that one rash act of hers caused so much pain to JH and her family and loved ones. And that’s when she’ll weep….the last tear that JH will collect.
actually Ji Hyun’s accident is not becoz of Yi Kyung,
you know there are more than 10 cars crashed and is there any of them died or got bad accident like Ji Hyun? moreover, Ji hyun still has enough time , when she come to Yi Kyung’s suicidal location, everything has stop, but Ji hyun got the accident becoz she was blank when driving, she did something else while driving so she didn’t see her front.
and what makes her like that?
it’s becoz she saw her fiancee and her best friend, AFFAIR..

Actually I don’t understand why she doesn’t go straight to her friends for each of the tears. The first choice shoud be the nice friend at the bakery’s! Instead she went and looked for an obscure friend who wasn’t even that close to her. So. Weird. Anyway I think the 3 tears (they’d better start moving on that!!!!!) are that friend’s, my lovely Kang-ah’s and Sad YK’s. Wait! I see a VISION! Of the 3, Kang-ah will cry the most beautifully. Those big baby eyes will just cloud over and then the tears will roll sadly down to his cupid-bow’s lips. Aaahh…..
she can’t go to Seo Woo directly, so as Han Kang, the two friends has known her as Song Yi Kyung , Han Kang’s freelancer waitress,
and how will she confess?
