Oh yeah, can I have a hoot hoot! I want to see Liu Chuan or Jia En explain away that hug, which is neither in a darkened concert or at the behest of a rock star telling everyone to engage in a hug-a-thon. Episode 14 of In A Good Way is right around the corner and the anticipation is building for what will either be a super depressing episode consisting of Liu Chuan moping, or else a super awesome one where his moping nets him some Jia En loving. It has to be the latter otherwise fur will fly over at SETTV from the angry fans who have been teased and tormented to the brink of sanity. I always thought Liu Chuan’s issues were always internal, he’s so good at everything that nothing fazes him. If Jia En wasn’t also involved, the prospect of getting expelled isn’t that big a deal. With the expulsion threat over with, he has to ask whether he can live with himself for tapping into the same corrupt system he hates. I wish he would be okay with it, because the entire process was corrupt to begin with and there was no justice for them through the proper channels. It’s like fighting slime with slime, and Liu Chuan should now go take a shower (onscreen) and wash it off so he can be back to his usual sparkly self. I’m kidding of course, since the man is literally built on the fibers of rock hard principles (like his abs), so it’s not going to be easy for him to think his way out of his own rut. That’s assuming dear old dad hasn’t already hooked Liu Chuan back into his 7th circle of corruption. Whatever is going on with him, I have faith Jia En will do her best to get through to him. Of course she’ll use lots of talking, and maybe some creative expression of solidarity and support, but I wish the girl would think with her lips first before trying out the other methods.

A well-intentioned dinner, a test done without a leaving a trace. Jia En is invited by Liu Chuan’s dad to dinner. During the meal all she sees is Liu Chuan’s restrained and resignation…. Jia En’s wants to know what that hug meant, in Liu Chuan’s heart, what did that hug mean to him?

Someone close can best see through the worries. Ren Wei discovers that Jia En is in love. The childhood friends discuss what it’s like to fall in love, and in each of their hearts a familiar face appears…..

The Treasure Hunting club is faced with a school review hearing. Such a critical time but Liu Chuan is nowhere to be found. Where did the president go? Ren Wei’s recording gives Jia En an idea and she starts the treasure hunting game just for Liu Chuan. In this era of freedom, Jia En wants to save the Liu Chuan who is not freedom. In your heart, I shall have a name…………..
